Montreal - day 1

Just got back from a 6 day vacation to Montreal. It all started with a 6:20AM flight out of Austin. Of course, that meant taking a 4:00AM taxi from my house to Jill's house and then to the airport. Luckily, the Continental lounge at ABIA opened at 5:AM with coffee and bagels:



We arrived in Montreal around 2:00PM (via a brief stop in Newark, NJ):


The weather in Montreal was not as cool as the weather forecasts predicted, but it was cooler than Austin - so no complaints. We had a nice room at the Hyatt downtown.



The hotel was conveniently attached to a shopping center with a grocery store. I noticed this Molson Ice 10.1 in the grocer's beer section and just had to try it. The 10.1 came in an absurdly large bottle - as big as a small child:
