Rhubarb pie - part 2

Jill has a classic 50's kitchen, and since baking pies seems like a very 50's activity, we decided to use her kitchen over mine. She even chose an appropriate outfit:


Pie baking got off to a late start Sunday. We started making the fillings around 3:00 in the afternoon:






We took a break and started the pie crusts later that evening:



The last pie came out of the oven around 4:AM. Three out of the four pies turned out nicely. The 4th was a disaster - but we won't talk about that one.
