Seems wrong that I have to work on Memorial Day weekend. So be it. At least I snuck in a couple of rides and a few drinks.
Sunday morning Spicewood Springs ride with Michael and Teddy. Dustin rode in from Steiner and joined us for a few miles.
Nothing like a cheese plate downtown afterward to cleanse the palette. Thank you guys for buying a round.
Monday morning in-town ride with Pete, Jill, Jane and Dave. The Airport bridge by Hwy 71 is a personal favorite.
With Pete along, there's a chance any ride will turn into a knowledge ride. Today, it was the Bethany Cemetery in East Austin, a black cemetery that dates back to the 1800's. Apparently, it was neglected and overgrown for ages, but has since been cleaned up. Pretty cool.
